Travel Hockey (VHL)

The travel program is a fun, team-oriented and competitive hockey experience. Each player is placed on the most appropriate team based on rigorous player evaluations. Travel teams compete in the Valley Hockey League and are co-ed.

For the 2025-2026 Season

Mites/8U: Birth years 2017-2019 and at least one year of In-House or comparable experience

Squirts/10U: Birth years 2015-2016

Peewees/12U: Birth years 2013-2014

Bantams/14U: Birth years 2011-2012



Lexington, Bedford, Hanscom AFB and Lincoln residents

LBYH Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam hockey players will have the option to purchase a new jersey for the 2025/2026 season. These jerseys will be yours to keep at the conclusion of the year, and will include your players name and custom/requested hockey number on the back. Returning players from the 2024/2025 season will have the option to continue to use their jersey if desired, and not order a new one. Jersey's and socks will cost approximately $95 (~$65 for jerseys and ~$30 for socks), which will be collected during the roster reservation process.

Full USA Hockey approved equipment is mandatory, beginning with tryouts. LBYH strongly recommends neck and mouth guards at all levels.
