Girls Travel Hockey (MYCGL)
The Girls Travel Hockey Program is a fun, team-oriented and competitive hockey experience for girls. Girls teams compete in the Middlesex Yankee Conference.
Eligibility
For the 2024-2025 season, girls in birth years 2006-2018
Lexington, Bedford, Hanscom AFB and Lincoln residents
Location
Practices at Hayden Ice Rink in Lexington or the Edge in Bedford
Games in surrounding towns based on the Middle Yankee Conference schedule
Season
U14 and under: September to mid-April
U19: September to November
Games
U14 and under: ~25-30 games in the Middlesex Yankee Conference
U19: ~10 games in the Middlesex Yankee Conference
Practices
U14 and under: ~60 practices, including ~25 skills sessions
U19: ~20 practices including skills sessions.
Additional Information
Depending on the number of girls’ team applications received, LBYH may not field a team in each of the girls’ team brackets, and reserves the right to combine some of the girls’ team brackets.
Full USA Hockey approved equipment is mandatory, beginning with tryouts. LBYH strongly recommends neck and mouth guards at all levels. LBYH provides a team jersey, pant shells and hockey socks for games.
