Learn to Play Hockey

LBYH's Learn to Play Hockey introduces kids to the sport of hockey. We will cover the hockey ABC’s for the beginner – skating, agility, balance, edges, and all kinds of fun with pucks. More experienced skaters will work on more advanced skating techniques, puck handling, passing, and shooting.

• Players 5-12 years old from all towns are welcome
• Players should have some prior skating experience through Hayden's Snowplow Sam program or equivalent
• Players should have at least a hockey helmet, skates, gloves, knee pads, neck laceration protection, and a stick (you can find gear and helpful staff at Bauer Hockey Experience in Burlington, Zwickers in Bedford, Sports Etc. in Arlington, and Play it Again Sports in Stoneham; contact clinics@lbyh.net if you need any help)
• The program is strongly recommended for future Hank Manz in-house players and is also open to current in-house participants seeking additional hockey development
