  • Peewees and Girls U-14
  • Squirts and Girls U-10
  • Mites
The only way to develop a strong, accurate shot is through proper practice.  A player who develops a strong, accurate shot increases their probability of scoring goals.  In order to encourage that development, we are providing the motivation through a 3 week contest amongst the players in the LBYH travel programs.  The contest challenges each player to shoot as many pucks as possible while away from the rink.

Teams will be divided into groups based on age.  Each week will focus on a particular shot and should be done emphasizing the proper technique for executing that shot.  The proper technique for the shot being developed each week will be provided.  Remember, practice does not make perfect but proper practice makes perfect.  Each individual will turn in his/her weekly totals to their coach by Saturday night at the end of each week.  Prizes will be given out weekly to the individual in each group who shoots the most pucks during that week.  A grand prize will be given out to the individual in each group who shoots the most pucks without missing a week over the 3 week contest.
