 Anticipated LBYH In-House Hockey Program Offerings for 2016 - 2017: 

In-House Program - Birth Dates 2006 - 2011 

  • Runs late October - mid-March
  • Co-ed program
  • 1 week night per week - 50 min. practice (Dec - Feb) at either Hayden Ice Rink in Lexington or The Edge in Bedford
  • Practices will comprise age-appropriate games and activities (developed by the ADM) designed to get players excited about coming to the rink, while also building skill. 
  • 1 game per week  -  played using  ½ ice format to on Saturdays, between 9am and 12pm, emphasizing fun and skill development
  • Teams comprised of 13 players, with each placed on 1 of 3 lines according to ability.  First line players will compete in a 3 vs. 3 format while second and third line players will compete 4 vs. 4. Each team will have one person playing as goalie each week.
  • Players enrolled in an LBYH travel team will be able to participate.  Players on a travel or club hockey team outside of LBYH cannot play In-House.
  • End-of-Season Awards Banquet held after final playoff game, typically mid-March
