LBYH Travel Team Managers Manual

2017 - 2018 LBYH Travel Team Managers Manual

Hello All,

Thanks again for volunteering to manage your team this season.  We have an updated Managers Manual (click on the link above) this year to help guide you and give you ideas.  Many of you are veteran Managers and several are new this season.  For the veterans, there are a few new items and reminders that we’d like to point out.  And for those who are new, take a look and don’t hesitate to ask any questions.

  • We have a ‘Team Managers’ tab on the lbyh.net homepage, containing all you should need throughout the season.
  • You do not need a separate manager password…simply use your regular family username and password to login.
  • You won’t have to get the players to sign your team roster anymore.
  • The Ice Scheduler is asking managers to handle more website duties for their team.   Managers will now deal with individual changes to a team’s schedule, such as cancelling, adding, or modify individual games/practices /scrimmages/events.
  • We’ve provided a ‘Tournaments’ link in the ‘Team Managers’ tab to assist you in finding tournaments that will work for your team.
  • Contacts for area college opportunities and the Boston Bruins/Providence Bruins can be found in the ‘Team Managers’ tab, under ‘Local Opportunities’.
  • And just a reminder, there is a ‘Hockey Parents’ tab on the homepage to provide useful information to families. Please encourage your parents to check it out.

There’s a lot more in the manual, so check it out and please don’t hesitate to contact me with ANY questions, comments or ideas (or typos).  I’m happy to help!

Looking forward to a great season!

Thanks,
