The LBYH Spirit Wear is back and we have increased our offerings. This year, we have something for all LB fans in your life. Mom, dad, siblings, even grandparents can support their team in a full line of NewEra branded items. All items will be shipped in time for those traveling to Lake Placid so get your orders in before October 16.
LBYH's annual photography week is scheduled for travel & girls teams from 10/15/17 - 10/19/17.
A few notes about this year's pictures:
For pictures to run smoothly, all players should be fully dressed (don't forget the socks!) in their uniform at your team's session time. Coaches/team should determine what color jersey you will wear prior to your session.
If your session is at the Edge, it will be in Locker Room #5, which is in the Upper Rink. If your subsequent practice is in the Lower Rink, it’s a good idea to bring skate guards to move quickly from one to the other.
Siblings may be photographed together. Just be sure siblings are available for their own team photos.
The photographer will take multiple shots/poses of each player. Note on the form, you have the option to choose which shot will be used to fulfill your order. If you choose this option, you will have 2 weeks from the release of the proofs to view and select your shots. If you have not made your selection after 2 weeks, the photographer will make the selection for you.
Please be sure that emails from the address "" do not go to your spam folder. This is the email that will alert you when your proofs are ready.
The photographer offers on-line pre-ordering/pre-payment (Directions below)! If you do not order online, you must bring payment (Cash, Check or Credit Card) with you to your photo session! There is also a paper order form that you can fill out if you prefer. IF YOU CARPOOL, your child MUST have a completed form/payment to have an individual picture taken

To All LBYH Families: We hope you are enjoying the summer. While we hope you are thinking more about getting to the beach rather than the rink, the LBYH Board continues its preparation for the upcoming 2018/2019 hockey season, which is only about 5 weeks away. Before you begin looking through your player’s equipment and keeping an eye out for the pre-season sales, we wanted to let you know about a few of the equipment related things the Board has been working on this off-season as you prepare for the season. The Board is encouraging all of our players to present a more uniform appearance when they take the ice. If you look like a team, you’ll play as a team.
In addition to uniform jerseys and game socks, all of our travel team players (mites through bantams, U10, U12 and U14) will be receiving Bauer custom shells to be worn over your hockey pants. The Bauer shells are navy, with gold and white accent striping and the spoked LB logo embroidered on the leg. We are very excited about this new item of uniform issue that will have our teams looking sharp when they take the ice this fall. Uniform jerseys, game socks and shells will be required for all players during LBYH games.
Also, in cooperation with Bauer and Tricon Sports, we have created an LBYH custom on-line store for gloves, helmets, hockey bags and apparel (see example images below). The gloves are navy and gold and there are 2 options: the Bauer Custom Team Pro Glove with the LBYH spoked LB logo on the thumb, and the Bauer Custom Team Glove with “LBYH” embroidered on the thumb. The helmets are navy and we are offering the Bauer RE-AKT 200, 95, and 75 with either black wire Bauer Profile II cages or Bauer Concept 3 Clear facemask (helmets and cages are all sold separately so you can pick the combination that works best for you). There is a Bauer Custom Team Premium Carry Bag with the LB logo, as well as a selection of Bauer jackets and rink pants to complete the ultimate team look when traveling to and from the rink. There are various lead times on these custom orders so check out the web site at https://lbcustom.itemorder.com/sale to place your order or stop in at Tricon Sports in Lexington if you have questions about the products or sizing. The helmets and cages are not custom orders and Tricon has them in stock. Once again, we will be providing LBYH helmet stickers and numbers so players can customize their helmets.
If you choose not to purchase items from the on-line store, the Board would like you to keep a few guidelines in mind when purchasing equipment for your LBHY player. Helmets should be either navy blue or black and gloves should be navy blue, black, or any combination of the LBYH color scheme of navy, gold and white. While we are not suggesting that parents go out and buy their players new equipment in order to conform to these guidelines, we are encouraging parents and players to adhere to these guidelines if and when they make new equipment purchases.
As our coaches continue to stress the importance of teamwork, both on and off the ice, we want our players to look their best and take pride in the LBYH colors as they represent their community. A consistent approach to uniforms and equipment plays a big part. Enjoy the rest of the summer and see you at the rink soon!
